John A. McPherson

After finishing his degree in New Zealand, John worked with the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong.  His position in the Commercial Office broadened his understanding of Hong Kong and China’s business climate and the market potential for various exports, including education.  Upon his return to Canada, he devoted himself to work in the education field and exchange between east and west.  John understands what students really need since he used to study and work abroad for several years.  This is the reason why he set up Real World Chinese with a focus on offering not only excellent academic programs, but honest and useful information for students who want to study in China.  John now presides over Real World China’s expansion efforts and all operational matters.
